cotton is a classic fibre that we all have in our closet – in the form of a t-shirt, shirt or a pair of denim jeans.

cotton derives from the cotton plant. the plant needs a lot of water to grow, and in conventional cotton farming they use both synthetic fertilizers, gmos and pesticides to protect the crops and ensure maximum crop size.

organic cotton on the other hand follows organic agricultural practices, meaning no use of synthetic fertilizers, gmos or pesticides. this makes it better for the people working in the field, the soil it is grown in and the surrounding biodiversity and animal life.
